Wookey Market - Local Somerset produce and crafts at its best

Wookey Local Produce Market is being held this Saturday 17th September 2011, with the promise of a bumper autumn harvest. Cooks and gardeners will offer tasty homemade cakes, savouries and preserves.



There will be locally grown and harvested autumn fruits and vegetables, Somerset apple juice and honey. Beautiful handmade crafts and cards for all occasions will be available. Refreshments and bacon rolls will be served all morning.



Everyone is welcome to this celebration of the produce and skills of this area. The Market is held in Wookey Church Hall from 9.30am -12noon.  Mosaic Tree will have a stall there and Annie and Maggie will be delighted to see you.  Perfect for a bit of pre Chirstmas shopping!

    Lovely photo of your ipod cases, I like your presentation. I haven't been to Wookey hole since I holidayed with my sister in 2003! Wish I lived nearer!

    Hello there! Many thanks for the compliment re iPod cases and about the presentation.

    It was Wookey Village church hall - my mistake - not Wookey Hole village - my typo! However, they're close and the whole area is such a lovely place to be. I wished I lived nearer - and then I moved down this way!

    Market went well - fab produce, very friendly - lots of locals and strong community feel to it. Fun and cakes were had by all!
